[You see Umi only from the back, but even then she doesn't seem happy at all. It looks like she's furiously beating things in a mixing bowl, and all the while grumbling.

[The next thing you see looks like a spike (one of several that you can barely see) shooting out from one end of the bowl. Umi gasps and jumps back a bit; the bowl clatters to the floor.]

[This? This is Umi being extremely Not Happy. She was supposed to be in Cephiro by now with Hikaru and Fuu and everyone, not here on her own talking to these weird women whose responses are basically as helpful as a brick wall. It's kind of a rude awakening, in the worst way possible.]
Would you listen to me for a minute?! I don't care about writing in some freaky journal, I just want to get out of here!
[They give one more generic unhelpful answer, and it's the last straw. With a frustrated sigh, she turns and makes for the door...only to find that she can't open it.
... Okay, maybe we'll try writing in the journal after all. Reluctantly, she cracks open the journal and begins to write:]

It seems like I don't have much of a choice other than writing in this thing, right? Honestly...! What kind of person summons you and then locks you in somewhere until you write in some diary?!
